Malibu, California. The present. One hundred and twenty years after his death, Charles Darwin is hanging out in a beach house overlooking the Pacific with a girl young enough to be his daughter. His peace is rudely disturbed when his old friend Thomas Huxley washes up on the beach closely followed by the Bishop of Oxford. And Darwin suddenly finds himself entangled in an enthralling and thought-provoking comedy about God, science and plastic surgery.

Swagger. Verve. Elegance. Panache. Harry Baldwin has none of these characteristics. But he does have the license plate. When wealthy socialite Kathleen Trafalger searches him out in his run-down Brooklyn tenement flat in order to buy the plate for her husband, an unusual relationship develops. They discover that people are a lot more alike than different, and that there really are second chances in life, if we just follow our heart and never give up. Filled with sweet, tender, heart-touching moments, this romantic comedy will keep you rolling with laughter, fighting back tears and filled with hope.
