From the bonny shores of England comes the Styckes-Upon-Thump Repertory Theatre Company, a stuffy old travelling troupe embarking on their fifteenth annual farewell tour of the Dickens’ tale. The company includes a cast of familiar characters every theater audience will recognize including the consummate actor and the theater diva. When the diva decides to play sick, thinking she’s indispensable, the understudy is thrust into the limelight because the show must go on. Unfortunately, the diva won’t stand for this and mayhem ensues as she tries to take her role back.

“Froggy” LeSeuer is once again visiting his favorite fishing lodge in rural Georgia accompanied by his pathologically shy friend, Charlie, who is overcome with terror at the thought of making conversation with strangers. “Froggy” concocts a story that Charlie is a foreigner from an exotic country who speaks no English. When “Froggy” leaves Charlie alone, the other lodge visitors speak freely in front of Charlie. Deep secrets and evil plans all unravel in front of Charlie and hilarity ensues as the ‘bad guys’ are pitted against ‘good’ in a climax that will leave you laughing til you can’t speak.

The newly elected board will adjourn for a brief board meeting, appoint officers and return and we will start the Masque Awards.
Please come down and visit with friends, reminisce on seasons and shows past, and of course, if you are interested, step up and help with the leadership.
