About Flemming

June 10-25, 2011

Yvette Walker Ward commented on Board Chairperson’s Don Walker’s Facebook status, “One of the best directed, best cast, best acted productions I’ve seen! You don’t want to miss this one!”

“I spent a delightful hour and a half thanks to the latest production of Stagecoach Theatre’s “Flemming” by Sam Bobrick and directed by Kevin Kimsey.

Forget Humphrey Bogart’s Marlow in “The Maltese Falcon” or “The Big Sleep”. Give it an update like Paul Newman as Lew Harper in “Harper” and “The Drowning Pool”. You’ll then get a feel for what you’re about to see. Kevin Kimsey kept the play light, entertaining and moving! The cast was spot on and made the characters very real! (I know people just like those portrayed in “Flemming”. I left the theatre very grateful for my neighbors!)

If this is “typical” Stage Coach fare, don’t miss this or any future productions!”

About Always, Patsy Cline

April – May, 2011

From Oliver Thompson on SCT’s FB page:  My kids and I had an absolute fabulous time at Always Patsy Cline today (Sunday Matinee). The performance with both cast members and the musicians was excellent. Thank you so much for all the hard work and dedication to brining artistic experssion to Boise and also for sharing a great story about a little known but important sequence of event’s in Patsy’s short life. My 13-year old daughter commented that Patsy Cline was the original Taylor Swift and if it weren’t for her, so many female country western stars never would have been born.

About Stage Coach Theatre

April 6, 2011

From Debbie Brigante Johnson on FB’s Causes page:

Stage Coach was where I made my public debut, at 16 years old. It was my first home, my first love. I even went on my first date with my husband to a Stage Coach play, The Last Night at Ballyhoo.  I have acted and sang and teched back-stage and costumed at Stage Coach. My favorite show EVER was at Stage Coach in 1991, Lend Me a Tenor.  I love my theatre home!!!
