Stage Coach Theatre is a 501(c)(3) non-profit performing arts organization. We are a volunteer army and as such, we thrive on the dedication and enthusiasm of our community. There are many opportunities available to join our team.

SCT President
Are you a passionate leader with a heart for the arts? Stage Coach Theatre is seeking our next President to help guide our community-driven organization into its next exciting chapter. The President is elected by the Board of Directors and plays a central leadership role in supporting the theater’s mission, volunteers, and operations.
The selected candidate will begin their term following the Annual Membership Meeting this summer. The position carries a three-year term, with a maximum of two consecutive terms.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general oversight and supervision of Stage Coach Theatre operations, under the direction of the Board.
- Appoint and supervise the Vice President, Department Heads, staff, and committee chairs as needed.
- Serve as an ex-officio member of all committees, offering guidance and support.
- Attend Board meetings to report on the overall health and activities of the organization and flag issues requiring Board input.
🔹 Ideal Candidate:
- Deep appreciation for community theater and nonprofit service
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Comfortable collaborating with a diverse volunteer base and leading with empathy
- Experience in nonprofit or arts leadership is a plus, but not required

Handyman
SCT is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Handyman to help keep our venue in top shape! If you enjoy fixing things, working behind the scenes, and being part of a creative, passionate team, we’d love to have you on board.
What You’ll Do:
- Regularly inspect the facility to identify maintenance needs
- Create a monthly list of proposed repair/improvement projects and estimated material costs
- Submit proposed projects to the Executive Committee for approval
- Complete approved projects in a timely, safe, and efficient manner
- Coordinate with volunteers or contractors for projects beyond personal scope
- Use a provided company credit card for material purchases and retain all receipts for bookkeeping
What We’re Looking For:
- A proactive and trustworthy individual with general maintenance skills
- Good organizational habits and the ability to work independently
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative spirit
- Commitment to safety, quality, and responsible use of funds
Time Commitment:
- Flexible hours, with monthly check-ins with the Executive Committee
